How to replace the Ignition Coil on an Acura TL?

Take off the engine cover. For 2004 and subsequent years, take off the right-side engine compartment shield, left rear engine compartment shield and the rear right engine compartment shield. Unplug the electrical connector from the ignition coil. Take out the bolt that was used to mount this coil. Grasp it tightly and pull directly upward to free it from the spark plug. The reverse of what was done is installation!

Acura TL Ignition Coil turns the battery's twelve volts into tens of thousands so the spark plugs can fire and kick off combustion, giving the engine its vital heartbeat.
