How to remove and install the Trunk Latch assembly on an Acura TL?

Open the trunk and remove the trunk lid trim panel. Scribe a line around the trunk lid latch assembly for a reference point to aid the installation procedure. Disconnect the electrical connector from the latch, then remove the two latch retaining bolts. Remove the latch mounting bolts and take out the latch. Disconnect the trunk lid release cable from the latch. Installation is the reverse of removal.
