How to safely remove and install a window regulator in the front door on an Acura TL?

When working inside the door openings wear gloves to protect against cuts from sharp metal edges. First off, they take out the door trim panel, and the plastic watershield. Then take out the window glass assembly. Remove the electrical connector from the window regulator motor. Remove five regulator mounting bolts, loosen two other bolting slots into which the metal regulator bolts do not have to be fully removed, only lifted slightly so the metal regulator can be loosened from the door. Raising the regulator carefully free the loosened bolts from their slotted holes, and then work the regulator assembly out of the service hole in the door frame. Installation is the reverse of removal.
