- Q:How to remove and inspect the air filter housing and radiator? Posted by Customer
- A:Disconnect the PCV fresh air inlet hose from the air intake duct, clearly label any other hoses and/or cables that are attached or connected to the air intake duct, then detach or disconnect them and set them aside, loosen the hose clamps at each end of the air intake duct, remove the air intake duct, drain the engine coolant, remove the air filter box retaining bolts, lift up the air filter box assembly, loosen the spring-type hose clamps and disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the underside of the filter box, remove the four air filter box cover bolts and remove the filter box cover, remove the air filter element, remove the radiator mounting bolt and remove the radiator from the air filter box, inspect the condition of the air filter box insulator(s), if an insulator is cracked, torn or otherwise deteriorated, replace it, installation is the reverse of removal.Posted by AcuraPartsWarehouse Specialist
