Remove the wheel, loosen the wheel lug nuts; raise the front of the vehicle and place it securely on jackstands. Now, take the plug out from the plastic splash shield. To remove the nut from the front end of the radius rod in the front crossmember, you remove the front end of the radius rod first by removing the plug in the plastic splash shield and the nut on the rod. Take off the two bolts that attach the rear end of the radius rod to the lower arm, then pull the rod. Again, if you are installing a new rod, measure from the end of the rod to the adjuster nut and remove the nut, then put it on the new rod in the same place. UnInstallation: Reverse the removal steps, and be sure all fasteners are tightened to their specified torque figures. Finally, it's time to drive the vehicle to an alignment shop to get the front end aligned (if not already done) if the alignment on the vehicle isn't set right.
