- Q: How to remove and reinstall the front and rear consoles on an Acura Integra?A:Remove the negative battery terminal cable while entering the correct security code if your car is designed to prevent theft. Uncover the front of the rear console and take out the two screws at its edge. Next, detach the screws on both sides of the console by shoving the frontend of your seats forward to reach the screws better. Using the parking brake, lift up on the console handle and take out the console's rear half by pulling it up and toward the back. Take out the console locking screws from the sides and front edge of the front console, then pull off the shift knob. Raise the back of the front console over your shift lever, disconnect wiring, and take out the console from the car. Installation is the reverse of removal.
