- Q: How to remove and reinstall the front and rear console on Acura Integra?A:If the radio has an anti theft system, then disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and you need the correct activation code as well. Open the cover and take off the two screws from the front edge of the rear console, then pull the screws out from along either side of the console. If desired, move the front seat forward and on CR-V model, the rear cup holder are held by nuts on each side. Lift the rear half of the console toward the rear and pull up on the parking brake handle. Next, remove the shift knob and then the four screws alongside the sides and in front of the front console. Disconnect any electrical connections then lift up and over the shift lever then remove the console from the vehicle. After deinstallation, reinstallation uses the reverse order.
