Disconnect the negative battery cable, then the positive cable and wait three minutes before proceeding further. If the radio in your vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft system, make sure you have the correct activation code before disconnecting the battery. Tilt the steering wheel to its lowest position and remove the instrument cluster bezel. Pad the steering column to protect it. Remove the cluster mounting screws, carefully pull it straight out of the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connectors by pulling the cluster out of the dash, turning it over, and unplugging the electrical connectors from the backside. Installation is the reverse of removal.
