  A brand new one should replace the air filter at specific intervals. At first, loosen the screws for cleaner housing cover and then lift it up. Be cautious not to drop anything into the air cleaner assembly while you have removed its cover. Take off the housing and use a clean rag that is moistened by water to remove any debris or oil from it. Remove this filter out of its holder by pulling on a tab or handle, depending on model type. Get rid of dirt in that part of the engine using a clean cloth after removing this thing from its container. On Integra models,unhook the lid and take out this screen.. In Legend models, however, pull up retainerspring and release filter; after that take filter's position away from top of vacuum box.Any new part brought into the air cleaner compartment must be well placed in bottommost part of this chamber for perfect seating.In Legend models insert spring as you put down Filter.Having done all these things finish by putting back your cleaner lid ahead of tightening screws firmly enough.
