- Q: How do you replace the interior and exterior mirrors on Acura Legend?A:To replace the interior mirror, start by prying off the mirror base cover with a screwdriver, then remove the three retaining screws to detach the mirror. If installing a new mirror, take off the large Phillips head retaining screw and detach the base from the old mirror, transferring the base to the new mirror. Position the new mirror and install the screws before snapping the cover onto the mirror base. For the exterior mirror, on manual mirrors, remove the screw and pull off the knob, then pry off the cover. For power mirrors, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the Door Trim Panel for access. Next, remove the three retaining screws and lift the mirror off, unplugging the electrical connector if equipped with power mirrors. Installation is the reverse of removal.
