How to remove and install an outer door handle on an Acura Legend?

Remove the door trim panel and plastic shield. Disconnect the operating rods attached to the outside door handle. Prior to moving the handle, apply tape around the handle opening to protect the paint from damage when the handle is withdrawn from the door. Remove the door handle retaining nuts or bolts and detach the handle from the door. Installation is the reverse of removal.
