- Q: How do you replace a headlight bulb on Acura Legend?A:Raise the headlights then disconnect negative cable from battery. Lower front grille and the headlight bezel screws and detach the bezel. Don't disturb the adjusting screws with taking out the headlight retainer screws. Unplug the connector from the headlight and then take out the headlight further enough to get rid of the retainer. Just plug in the connector, place the headlight and put in the retainer and screw and tighten them quite tight. Reconnect negative battery cable and then place the headlight bezel in position and install retaining screws. Open up the hood and then connect at the top of the headlight assembly to unplug the electrical connector. Remove the bulb assembly by grasping the bulb holder retaining collar, turning counterclockwise to remove it and then pulling the bulb assembly out. By inserting the new bulb assembly into the housing, inserting the retaining collar into position and then by rotating it clockwise and plugging in the electrical connector while reconnecting the negative battery cable, it can be inserted.
