The antenna for 2001 thru 2006 Acura models is the roof near the tail gate area. It also easy to remove the mast itself as it can be unscrewed. However, to replace the antenna mount a mechanic has to now bring down the rear section of headliner. Twist the head of the antenna mast off the base. If you are just changing the antenna mast it stops here. I can't believe all it takes to fix a mast is screwing on a new one, and then you are set. If you have to replace the antenna mount then move to the next step of the process. Remove the rear section of the headliner as it is pulled downwards. Remove the antenna lead and the electrical connector from the antenna as well. Take out the roundnut and take out the antenna mount. Removal is the opposite of installation. In the 2007 models, the antenna is built in the body of tail gate spoiler trim part. In order to remove the antenna it is necessary to remove the tailgate spoiler trim. Take off the bezel of the tailgate spoiler. Removal is the exact opposite of installation. For Honda models, the antenna grid is an actual part of the left rear window of the car and is located between the C pillar and the D pillar. As for the antenna strips, you will have to change the left rear window. To repair the antenna grid you should the same approach you would use to repair the rear window heater grid.
