  Q: How to replace a tie-rod end on a Acura MDX?

  A: Unfasten the wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and support it on jack stands. Undo the wheel and loosen the tie-rod end jam nut. Mark the tie-rod end's relationship to the tie-rod for reassembly. Detach the cotter pin and loosen the nut from the tie-rod end ball stud. Remove the nut from the ball stud, separate the tie-rod end from the Steering Knuckle, and unscrew the tie-rod end from the tie-rod. Also, reattach the tie-rod end to the marked position and connect it to the steering arm. Install the nut on the ball stud and secure it.
