- Q: How to Remove the Condenser from an A/C System?A: Have an AC technician discharge and recover the refrigerant. Disconnect the negative battery terminal, remove the air intake duct cover, battery, battery tray, and radiator cover on 2004+ models. Remove radiator brackets, disconnect the AC pressure switch connector, and detach the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Cap all openings, remove condenser bolts, and lift the condenser out. Reverse these steps for installation, using new, lubricated O-rings. If the condenser is new, add refrigerant oil. Reconnect the battery and have the system serviced by a professional.
