Have the refrigerant discharged and recovered by an air conditioning technician, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, on 2004 and later models, remove the small cover over the air intake duct, remove the battery and battery tray, remove the radiator cover, remove the radiator mounting brackets, disconnect the air conditioning pressure switch electrical connector, remove the line fitting bolts and disconnect the refrigerant lines from the condenser, cap all openings to prevent the entry of dirt or moisture, remove the condenser mounting bolts, carefully lift the condenser straight up and out of the engine compartment, installation is the reverse of removal, assemble all connections with new 0-rings, lightly lubricated with R-134a refrigerant oil, only use O-rings that are designed specifically for A/C system applications, if the condenser is new, add 5/6-ounce of fresh refrigerant oil, reconnect the battery, have the system evacuated, charged and leak tested by the shop that discharged it.
