How to remove and install the headlight housing on an Acura TL?

Make sure that ignition switch and headlight switch have been turned to OFF. Remove the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. If you have models from 1999 through 2003: Remove the front bumper cover and disconnect electrical connectors from headlight housing; if connectors are hard to reach, disconnect after pulling headlight housing out. Unbolt the headlight housing mounting bolts, remove the lower part by removing three bolts and the upper part by two bolts, pull out the housing and disconnect any remaining electrical connectors, remove it. The reverse of removing is installation. Starting with removing the front bumper cover, with which you can remove the two front bumper spacer screws to detach the front bumper spacer for models from 2004 and later. Next, retract the headlight housing bolts and pull out the headlight housing and remove the electrical connectors. Again installation is the reverse of removal.
