The process to replace an Integra power antenna mast starts by taping the fender to avoid scratches and continuing with the nut and spacer removal. An assistant should turn the radio ON to extend the antenna while guiding the mast until it reaches full extension. Then they can remove the mast from the vehicle. The new antenna installation must occur with teeth exposed at the rear area while connecting antenna teeth to the drive cable before turning on the radio to permit antenna motor mast insertion into the fender. The installation requires adding the spacer followed by the antenna nut; place flat-sealed spacers inside the collar beneath the spacer with the O-ring positioned above the spacer. Before fixing the power antenna motor inside the vehicle one must first extract the side trim panel from the sedan trunk area or eliminate the quarter trim panel located beyond the hatchback's rear area. First detach the antenna nut accompanied by the washer by applying tape to the fender for protection before using snap-ring pliers to remove the antenna nut. First you should remove the antenna motor mounting nut succeeding by disconnecting the electrical connector and antenna lead before extracting the assembly.
