    How to remove and install a hood on a Acura MDX? Posted by Customer
    A:
    Cover the car's body with blankets to protect it. Mark the hood hinge for alignment. Disconnect any cables and remove the hinge-to-hood bolts with another person's help. Lift off the hood. To reinstall, reverse the process. Adjust the hood by moving the hinge plate after loosening the bolts. Mark each hinge plate to measure movement. Mark the latch mounting bolts, loosen them, and reposition them as needed. Tighten the bolts after adjustment. Adjust the hood bumpers to ensure the hood is flush with the fenders. Lubricate the hood latch assembly and hinges.
