    How often should the Door Hinge, Door Latch Assembly, Door Lock, Hood Hinge, Hood Latch, Liftgate Hinge and Trunk Latch be lubricated on Acura Legend? Posted by Customer

    The hinges and latch assemblies on the doors, hood, and trunk (if you have a trunk or liftgate, whichever application it is), should be liberally lubricated with a few drops of suitable light oil or lock lubricant, every three months or every 3,000 miles. Also, coat the door latch strikers with a very thin layer of grease to reduce wear and to allow smooth operating. Spray on graphite lubricant should be applied to locks for the door and trunk (or liftgate).
