Unplug the car's battery, let go of the horn button on Legend models to reach the steering wheel nut. When necessary, disconnect the electrical cable that is beside the retaining nut. Remember to paint or scratch a reference mark between the steering wheel and the steering shaft hub as you disconnect the retaining nut. Before removing anything, slide the wheel away from the shaft normally - a puller isn't needed for most models. Follow these steps again and place the steering wheel back by matching the marker on the wheel disc with the marker on the steering shaft. Use matching tork to tighten the mounting bolt. Finally, reconnect the negative battery cable.
