    With the throttle cam closed, measure cable deflection between the bracket and cam. If incorrect, adjust using the adjustment nut. After adjusting, have an assistant depress and release the accelerator pedal while you verify the throttle cam's movement. If needed, readjust the cable. Once the adjustment is complete, install the cover.
