    Q: How do you check and replace the Combination light switch on the steering column on Acura Integra?

    The exterior lighting and wiper switches are located on the steering column, with the combination light switch on the left side incorporating turn signal, headlight, dimmer, and parking light functions, while the windshield wiper/washer functions are on the right side. To check the switches, remove them and use an ohmmeter or self-powered test light to verify continuity between the indicated switch terminals in each position; if continuity is not as specified, the switch should be replaced. For replacement, remove the steering column covers, detach the electrical connectors, and unscrew the switch from the column, ensuring to position the spokes vertically for access. Installation follows the reverse order. For the Cruise Control Switch, first remove it from the steering wheel and check continuity between the indicated terminals in each position; if continuity is not as specified, replace the switch. Disconnect the negative and positive battery cables, waiting at least three minutes before proceeding, and ensure the correct activation code for the radio is available if it has an anti-theft system. Remove the cover over the cruise control switch, detach the retaining screws, disconnect the electrical connections, and remove the switch from the steering wheel, with installation following the reverse order.
