- Q: How to remove and install the blower unit on Acura Legend?A:Integra models without air conditioning should not be connected to the battery through the negative cable. A blower unit is found in the passenger's compartment above the right front footwell. The glove box as well as its frame should be removed. When disconnecting the blower duct, it's important that you label and detach its electrical connector. After removing screws retaining it, pluck-out this blower from housing. To replace a motor, switch fan immediately before installing new one. Reinstalling is opposite of what we did earlier when we were taking out these parts. See whether everything is functioning properly after that. If your car comes with an air conditioner, remove its negative wire connection at the battery terminal location for Integra models. Above the right front footwell in passenger's compartment lies a blower unit. Get rid of glove box completely with frames plus side frame and other necessary fittings around this part of your ride subject matter such as unbolt a retractor control unit or eliminate center console or take off another center console bracket among others including lower dash board bracket and insert a screw driver for that matter while slightly loosening this strip towards right hand side where by connecting an electric plug to this blower or undoing those screws used to fasten it on with now lowering same till removal thus unbolting fan and motor from its housing meaning everything else remains constant except if you are replacing engine such that transfer fan into new motor first then finish by doing installation backwards before trying to operate on correctly during testing stage in reverse order of their removal just in Legend mode cars disengage -ve cable battery point because a blowerright corner well was mounted within cab ahead Remove bottom cover beneath dashboard Higher fan off shaft holes down Replace back normal operation.
