    Before removing the cylinder head, you need to remove the power steering pump (without disconnecting the power steering fluid lines), alternator (if working on the front cylinder head), upper intake manifold, exhaust manifolds (or catalytic converter assemblies), timing belt, camshaft sprockets, connector brackets, and coolant passage from the cylinder heads.
