Acura 38100-SCP-W02 Horn Assembly (Low)

Start your electrical check by examining the fuses first. Unplug the electrical connector connecting the horn to its power supply. Jump two wires to your battery: one positive and one negative end. Plug them into horn connections to see if it works. If the horn doesn't sound, replace it. Press the horn switch while inspecting the battery voltage at the horn connector. When the horn fits into its electrical connector and works, probe for grounding problems at the horn itself. Make sure to examine the relay when horn voltage doesn't show. First check the relay, then look for power and control signals going to the relay. When voltage shows up in the circuits, but not when the relay or fuse panel is connected, you need to check all the wires between them. When you activate the horn lever and find the current flowing, make sure the connection path between the switch and relay to the horn milk is open. Open circuits can prevent airflow through a system. Check your wiring for breaks. If the horn switch doesn't detect a break in the connection, change it. To find if the problem lies in the path between the switching horn and the relay, test the path's connection to the ground. You can reach the horns by taking off the front bumper cover. Unplug the wires and take out the securing bolt for the bracket. Installation is the reverse of removal.
