    How do I remove the rear hub/bearing assembly on a Acura MDX? Posted by Customer

    To remove the hub/bearing assembly on a 2007 Acura MDX, loosen the drive axle/hub nut and wheel lug nuts. Raise the vehicle's rear and support it on jack stands. Remove the wheel, brake caliper, bracket, and disc. Discard the drive axle/hub nut. Remove the four hub/bearing assembly mounting bolts and the assembly. If the drive axle sticks, use a two-jaw puller. For installation, ensure the mounting surface and drive axle splines are smooth. Lubricate the splines with grease and install the assembly onto the axle and into the knuckle. Install the assembly-to-knuckle bolts in a criss-cross pattern. Install a new drive axle/hub nut, brake disc, bracket, and caliper. Install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the axle/hub nut and lug nuts.
