    How do you remove the front wheel hub assembly for the 1997 Acura Integra? Posted by Customer
    A:
    Start by removing the wheel cover if present, and then loosen the driveaxle/hub nut using a socket and breaker bar. Proceed to loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the front of the vehicle, and securely support it on jackstands. Remove the wheel and the driveaxle/hub nut. Unbolt the brake hose bracket from the steering knuckle, and unbolt the brake caliper. Hang the caliper out of the way using a piece of wire, and remove the caliper mounting bracket along with the brake disc. Disconnect the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle. Separate the lower control arm from the balljoint at the bottom of the steering knuckle, then separate the upper end of the knuckle from the upper control arm balljoint. Carefully pull the knuckle and hub assembly off the driveaxle, tapping the end of the driveaxle with a soft-faced hammer to disengage it from the hub. Support the driveaxle with a piece of wire to prevent damage to the inner CV joint.
