    What steps are involved in preparing and installing new components for the fuel injectors for the 2003 Acura MDX? Posted by Customer

    To prepare and install new components: 1.Coat the new cushion rings and upper O-rings with clean engine oil and install them on each injector. 2.Insert the fuel strainer into the top of each injector. 3.Coat the new lower O-rings with clean engine oil and install them on the lower ends of the injectors. 4.Coat the outside surface of each upper O-ring and cushion ring with clean engine oil. 5.Insert each injector into its corresponding bore in the fuel rail. 6.Coat each new seal ring with clean engine oil and press it into an injector bore in the intake manifold. 7.Install the injectors and fuel rail assembly on the intake manifold and tighten the fuel rail mounting bolts securely.

    Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to the inside of each seal ring, coat the new cushion rings and O-rings with clean engine oil and slide them into place on each of the fuel injectors, coat the outside surface of each O-ring and cushion ring with clean engine oil, then insert each injector into its corresponding bore in the fuel rail.
