    Where is the MAP sensor located and how do you remove it for the Acura MDX? Posted by Customer

    The MAP sensor is located on top of the throttle body. Remove the engine cover. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor. To disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor, depress the release tab and pull off the connector. To detach the MAP sensor from the throttle body, remove the screw. Remove the MAP sensor retaining screw and remove the MAP sensor from the throttle body. Remove the old MAP sensor 0-ring and discard it. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal. Be sure to use a new 0-ring and tighten the MAP sensor retaining screw securely.

    After removing the MAP sensor, be sure to remove and discard the old MAP sensor O-ring. Whether re-using the old MAP sensor or installing a new one, always use a new O-ring for models from 2003 and earlier.
