- Q: How to remove and install the Grille on Acura TL?A:For 2001 and earlier models, begin by removing the five grille mounting nuts, two on top, one at each end, and three along the bottom. Next, detach the clips on the backside of the upper front edge of the grille by carefully pulling it off, and then installation is the reverse of removal. For 2002 and 2003 models, first remove the front Bumper cover, then take out the three clips located on the inside of the bumper cover, adjacent to the underside of the grille. To detach the grille from the bumper cover, disengage the three hooks along the underside of the grille, followed by installation being the reverse of removal. For 2004 and later models, start by removing the front bumper cover, then take out the seven grille retaining screws to detach the front grille from the front bumper cover, and installation is again the reverse of removal.
