You must remove the driver's switch panel in Pilot and MDX models to replace the Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) OFF switch, cruise control, interior lighting and moonroof switches. Start by prying off the switch trim panel with a removal tool made for this task or a screwdriver. Then gently pull the panel out, disconnect the electrical cables by pressing the release on each cable. Slide the panel's locking tabs to open it, then push the switch you want to remove forward from the front of the control panel. Installation goes the other way. Inside the radio trim panel on 2006 and newer models, the hazard switch has a light bulb you can unscrew and replace. Start by wiggling the trim panel off using a trim panel removal tool, then take it out. To disconnect the electrical wires, press the release button to unlock them. To take a switch from the radio trim panel, lift the two small locking tabs and pull out the switch from its front position. Installation is done through the opposite steps.
