If the radio in your vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft system, ensure you have the correct activation code before disconnecting the battery. For models with a manual
Window Regulator, begin by removing the window crank. On Integra models, take off the inside
Door Handle trim cover, while on Civic and CR-V models, remove the inside door handle. Pry out the front door speaker cover if present, then take off the door pull cover and the retaining screws for the door trim panel. Carefully pry loose the retaining clips using a trim pad remover or a putty knife, working slowly around the outer edge of the trim panel until it is free. Once all clips are disengaged, pull the trim panel up, unplug any wire harness connectors, and remove the panel. To access the door inner panel, carefully pry out the retainers and detach the plastic shield. Before reinstalling the door trim panel, ensure any clips that may have come out during removal are reinstalled. Plug in the wire harness connectors for the power door lock switch and the power window switch if equipped, position the panel in the door, and press it into place until the clips are seated. Finally, install the trim panel retaining screws, the armrest retaining screw, the power door lock switch assembly if equipped, and the manual regulator crank handle.
