Loosen the front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, place it securely on jackstands and remove the wheel. Support the lower control arm with a floor jack. For an Integra, remove the
Shock Absorber assembly. Remove the cotter pin and loosen, but do not remove, the castle nut from the upper balljoint stud. Separate the upper control arm from the
Steering Knuckle with a puller, then remove the castle nut. For a Civic or CR-V, remove the upper control arm pivot bolts from inside the engine compartment, then remove the upper control arm. For an Integra, remove the upper control arm-to-shock tower nuts. Installation is the reverse of removal, and be sure to tighten all of the fasteners. For a Civic or CR-V, raise the front suspension with a floor jack to simulate normal ride height before tightening the control arm pivot bolts.
